I am originally from Brazil, born in the 70's and a US permanent resident since 2000. My interest in other cultures lead me to travel extensively. By living in five different countries I was fortunate enough to experience a variety of culture. The experience has definitely shaped my personality to fit in diverse environments.
Growing up during the 80's in a country that was still recovering from a dictatorship, I had to learn to deal with many problems such as hyperinflation and an unstable currency. In an economy that most teenagers worked, I was not an exception. I had my first job at the age of sixteen. At the age of 19 I was working full time as a Human Resources assistant, responsible for payroll and assisting in marketing decision of a medium sized grocery store.
In addition to studying and working, sports has always been an important part of my life. I was discovered by gymnastics’ coaches at age of seven, I started intense training to become a competitive gymnast for Sao Jose dos Campso-SP. Along with the athletics of a gymnast I started classical and jazz dancing. I later left gymnastics and becoming a professional figure skater.
